The Rescue Hotel
The Rescue Hotel is a volunteer-led charity dedicated to supporting the dogs at Cardiff Dogs Home. Set up in 2019 by a small group of volunteers, their mission is to improve the lives of rescue dogs by providing essential care, funding vital resources, and ensuring they have the best possible chance of finding loving forever homes.
In 2020 they became a registered charity. Since then, The Rescue Hotel has grown into a thriving community of dog lovers, working tirelessly to raise funds for veterinary care, training, new facilities, and essential supplies like food and toys.
In 2025, they were excited to fund the complete rebuild of the centre, which included 40 brand new, state-of-the-art kennels for the dogs, as well as improved facilities for staff and volunteers.
